  • Conclusion
  • OKEx is a crypto exchange that used to be located in Hong Kong, but it’s apparently moved to Malta, no doubt because—along with Estonia and Gibraltar— that’s one of the few European countries that has clearly defined licensing requirements for crypto exchanges. They are so well-defined in fact, that many crypto exchanges from around the world have gone to Malta too.

OKEx offers many services under one roof, including spot trading (the name for typical trading) and derivatives trading. It’s interesting to note that (as of this writing) OKEx has become the biggest crypto spot and futures exchange on the planet.

You should be aware that investors from the US aren’t allowed to trade on the OKEx exchange, so you’ll have to look elsewhere if you’re a citizen. But that shouldn’t be too much of a burden because there are plenty of other high-quality exchanges to choose from.

    Liquidity

As part of this OKEx review need to point out that its trading volume has frequently been high enough to rank it among the top five exchanges, which means we are talking about cryptocurrency orders that regularly hit US$1 billion per day. This kind of volume means that it can offer very high levels of liquidity—a real benefit for traders. In a sign of how popular crypto trading has become, OKEx hit a trading volume of US$2.54 billion in 2020, but this was now only good enough to give it eighth place on the list of top exchanges. It’s interesting to see that OKEx’s overall volume has increased, and that its competitors clearly have as well.

    Mobile Support

if you want to be able to access your exchange by firing up a mobile desktop app, then OKEx can accommodate you. There is a downloadable desktop client, and versions exist on the App Store and Google Play too, for Windows and Apple users.

    OKEx Trading View

There is no overall best trading view. The best one is the one that works best for you, but as a minimum (because most platforms have this) it should show all part of the orderbook, the price chart of your chosen crypto and your order history. You should also be able to see buy and sell boxes. Since this is quite a personal decision, it’s advisable for you to look at the trading view and hopefully try it out. It’s the best way to tell if it’s going to be to your liking.

    OKEx Trading fees

OKEx charges 0.15% trading fees for takers which is a little bit lower than the industry average of 0.25%. This isn’t unusual though because there are plenty of exchanges out there doing it, and it’s a shift that’s pushing fees in general down to somewhere between 0.15% an 0.10%. OKEx gives a discount to trade makers with a fee of 0.10%.

You’ll be pleased to know that there are benefits to be had from achieving higher trading volumes with OKEx. That’s because it operates a discount system which means that the more you trade, the more you save.

For example, as a regular user doing some spot trading, you’ll be subject to a standard 0.15% as a taker and 0.10% as a maker, as we said before. But, if your trading volume rises to more than 1000 BTC for 30 days and you’re also holding more than 2,000 OKB tokens (OKEx’s native token), then those fees drop to 0.09% for takers and 0.06% for makers. These are very generous fees, and doing this would only cost you $5,173USD (as at 11.20.19). VIP users benefit from even better trading fees.

    OKEx Withdrawal fees

When you withdraw BTC OKEx charges you a fee of 0.0005 BTC, a much lower fee than the industry charges on average of 0.000812 BTC per BTC-withdrawal. That means OKEx will charge you around 40% less than the industry average for each withdrawal which makes it very competitive and well worth considering for that reason alone.

    Conclusion

OKEx lets you make deposits via wire transfer and credit cards, which makes it very convenient for newer crypto investors. This kind of user-friendliness makes a great entry-level proposition for those who aren’t familiar with the deeper intricacies of the crypto world. All in all, the combination of trading volume, discounts, convenience, makes OKEx exchange a very attractive proposition for any crypto investor.

In our expert FTX review, we cover all the key details you need to know about the popular FTX exchange. Learn about its main features, how it works, and more.

    1. Effective Mobile Support with FTX Exchange
    2. Understanding the Trading View at FTX
    3. FTX and Leveraged Trading
    4. OTC Desk at FTX
    5. FTX is Available to Investors in the United States
    6. Fees at FTX
    7. Deposit Options
    8. Security at FTX

What is the FTX exchange, and how does it work? You’ll find out in our in-depth FTX review.

If you’ve never heard of FTX, it’s a popular crypto exchange launched in early 2019, registered in Antigua and Barbuda. It’s based around trading derivatives, which are instruments priced according to the value of other assets (such as bonds, stocks, and commodities).

In a crypto trading context, the value of derivatives comes from specific cryptocurrencies’ prices. Traders are able to take part in derivatives trading linked to approximately twenty cryptocurrencies at FTX. That’s an impressive advantage, considering so many alternative derivatives exchanges offer ETH and BTC trading only.

Effective Mobile Support with FTX Exchange

For most crypto traders, a desktop computer is the most convenient and practical way to work. The critical data you need to view can fit onto a bigger screen comfortably, allowing you to read without straining your eyes or becoming confused. Charts may display quickly and more clearly, too.

But not all traders prefer desktop computers — some choose to trade through their mobile devices instead. If this applies to you, there’s good news: the FTX exchange is compatible with smartphones and tablets. You can download it from either Google Play or the App Store.

Understanding the Trading View at FTX

No FTX review would be complete without exploring its trading view. This is a major element of the FTX website, displaying a specific cryptocurrency’s price chart and its present price. You can find up-to-the-minute insights here, and place orders on the relevant crypto courtesy of the buy and sell boxes.

The majority of platforms also present you with your order history, to help you keep track of your previous activities. All of this is contained in the same trading view on your desktop.

However, while FTX’s trading view is outstanding, you may feel it’s not ideal, based on your personal preferences. Fortunately, you can adjust the settings to create a trading view that suits you better.

    FTX and Leveraged Trading

If you choose to sign up with FTX, you can take advantage of leveraged trading. The maximum level is three times the relevant amount, which is lower than at some other exchanges offering leverage levels as high as ten times the amount.

You need to think carefully before trying leveraged trading for the first time. Yes, it can generate significant returns for you, but the potential losses could be equally large.

For example, imagine if you had $10K in your trading account (a very healthy balance) and decided to place $100 on Ethereum’s value increasing. If you were to do this with 100x leverage, you would receive $1000 if the value rose by 10 percent. But if Ethereum’s value were to drop by 10 percent, you would lose $1000 instead.

It’s worth keeping this in mind when you think about leveraged trading at the FTX exchange. Don’t rush into a decision.

    OTC Desk at FTX

FTX provides Over The Counter (OTC) trading. How does this work?

Imagine if you had a high volume of a particular crypto (BTC, for example). Now, if you wanted to sell that full amount of BTC, you could do it on a regular platform like other traders.

However, many would choose to execute bigger trades outside the standard market place because they could impact the relevant crypto’s market price.

Additionally, the order book might be a little too thin for executing the trade. Over The Counter trading is a solution to this issue, and it’s available at FTX for you to try now.

FTX is Available to Investors in the United States

Why are US citizens denied the option to join such a large amount of exchanges? This is down to the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC).

The United States prohibits foreign businesses to solicit investors on its shores, unless said businesses have registered with the SEC. Ignoring this rule can lead to severe legal action, as proven by numerous cryptocurrency exchanges that have been sued (e.g. EtherDelta and Bitfinex). USDT (Tether) was also accused of misleading its investors.

Sadly, if you’re based in the United States and interested in trying cryptocurrency trading, FTX isn’t the exchange for you.

    Fees at FTX

    Trading Fees

FTX imposes a trading fee on you with each order you place. This is typically a percentage of your order’s value.

FTX divides between ‘takers’ (those who take orders from the book) and ‘makers’ (who place limit orders on the books).

This crypto exchange charges a taker fee of 0.07 percent, which lines up with the average at derivatives exchanges. But FTX charges makers no fees, which is a huge advantage.

    Withdrawal Fees

You won’t be charged any withdrawal fees by FTX itself, but network fees will be imposed. As a result, you will only pay network fees to miners when withdrawing from FTX. Even this is lower than the industry average, and highly competitive.

These reasonable fees help to give FTX a valuable edge.

    Deposit Options

At FTX, you can make asset deposits in a variety of ways. Options include debit card, wire transfer, and cryptocurrencies.

As FTX accepts deposits in fiat currencies, this exchange is considered suitable for entry-level traders: you can take your first steps in the crypto trading world with no need to own any crypto coins at the point of signing up and adding funds to your account.

    Security at FTX

Last but not least: security. It’s a fundamental element of our comprehensive FTX review.

This exchange has been designed to provide users with a high standard of security, and utilizes the latest measures to minimize traders’ risk. You can execute trades without the worry of potential problems caused by data breaches. Nothing is guaranteed, of course, but the team behind the scenes is making every effort.

This brings our FTX review to a close. We hope this helps you make the right decision for your crypto trading goals, whether you’re a newcomer or a seasoned investor.

    10. Security at KuCoin

Our KuCoin review is designed to provide you with all the expert insights you need to try this crypto exchange with confidence.

Since it was launched in 2017, KuCoin has gone on to become a major exchange. It has amassed a user base comprising more than five million people from across the globe, spanning more than two-hundred nations.

Seychelles-based KuCoin is generally referred to as the “people’s exchange”, and is recognized for the range of crypto services it offers. These include fiat to crypto, crypto to crypto, staking, futures trading, and more.

KuCoin has in excess of two-hundred-and-fifty supported coins along with four-hundred-and-forty trading pairs. It’s not surprising that it achieved remarkable funding in preparation for its launch, securing investments from Matrix Partners and IDG Capital, and revealed that it had earned $20 million in round-A support from investors within 18 months of launch.

KuCoin clearly benefited from a stable release and has expanded into a major contender on the crypto market in a fairly short space of time. We’ll cover the most crucial factors of its services below, as our KuCoin review continues.

    KuCoin Liquidity and KuCoinShares

According to Coinmarketcap.com’s ranking process, KuCoin tends to be placed high, based on its liquidity, traffic patterns, and trading volumes. Again, that’s a testament to the exchange’s quality and popularity.

KuCoin also has its own native token, known as KuCoin Shares (KCS). You can expect to receive a KCS bonus every single day if you hold any KuCoin shares, and you’ll get discounts on trading. Reduced fees for withdrawals will be provided, too, while holders are welcome to take part in frequent votes.

Welcoming to Investors Based in the United States

Investors located in the United States are welcome to trade on KuCoin, unlike some other exchanges, which prohibit US-based investors from utilizing their services. It’s recommended, though, that American users take the time to determine whether the state in which they reside has any regulations in effect that might interfere with international cryptocurrency trading.

Understanding the Trading View on KuCoin

Exchanges incorporate their own trading views, and you need to decide which suits you best based on your personal trading preferences. The views tend to have one thing in common, though: they display the order book (or just a single part of it), as well as the specific cryptos’ price chart and a history of orders.

The trading views usually include “buy” and “sell” boxes, for your convenience. Take the time to explore the trading view options before you select one exchange, to make sure it works for you. KuCoin’s trading view is designed incredibly well and carries a wealth of crucial information.

    Margin Trading and KuCoin

Another key aspect we considered when writing this KuCoin review is the exchange’s Margin Trading Service.

This empowers traders with the flexibility to utilize funds that have been supplied by other KuCoin users. As a result, they have access to bigger amounts of capital and can leverage positions (for both short and long).

While borrowing these funds can help you achieve higher profits over time, they can also increase potential losses than the investment made initially. Fifteen cryptocurrencies are supported by KuCoin Margin Trading, including Ethereum, KuCoinShares, and of course, Bitcoin. 35 trade pairs feature, too, with as much as 10x leverage available.

    Futures Trading at KuCoin Exchange

The KuCoin futures trading platform was launched in summer 2019. This was followed by the Lite version around six months later.

Futures trading, also known as contract trading, involves the purchase and sale of standardized future contracts of financial assets or commodities. Future contracts stipulate that the buyer will purchase assets at a set cost at a certain time to come. The seller will need to provide said asset at the set price on the proper date.

The Over-The-Counter (OTC) Trading Desk at KuCoin

The KuCoin Over-The-Counter (OTC) Trading Desk was launched in summer 2019. This enables users to execute longer trades at specific prices, with no possibility of triggering changes in that crypto’s value.

The KuCoin OTC Trading Desk supports direct purchases of BTC, USDT, and additional crypto coins via CAD, IDR, VND, or CNY. No trading fees apply and settlements tend to be fast. All you need to take advantage of KuCoin’s OTC trading desk is to complete the full KYC registration process, including the creation of a password.

    Lending at KuCoin

KuCoin’s Lending platform is designed to support users who lend cryptocurrencies to others, with interest charged to generate extra income. To take part, lenders are required to provide details on the loan amount and the rate of daily interest they wish to charge (within a range of 0 to 0.2 percent).

The Lend Terms selection can vary from one week to two weeks and even around one month (28 days by default).

    KuCoin’s Pool-X Staking Platform

Pool-X, a staking platform, is known for establishing a free market which solves the staked crypto liquidity issue.

Traders can take part in Staking and achieve rewards, as well as the native Pool-X token (POL Credits). Traders can trade their staking assets with a higher liquidity level in the liquidity trading market.

The Cost of KuCoin: Understanding its Fees

    Trading Fees

KuCoin utilizes a flat fee structure, rather than charging a variety of fees between makers and takers. It provides a flat trading fee of 0.10 percent, falling beneath the worldwide average in the industry — while opinions differ on what this average actually is, it’s considered to hover around the 0.25 percent mark.

Paying the trading fees with KuCoinShares can lead to an additional discount. These trading fees are decreased based on the trading volume and holdings of the last 30 days of KuCoin Shares.

    Withdrawal Fees

A number of crypto exchanges implement highly-competitive trading fees, but manage to hit you with the high cost of their withdrawal charges. But KuCoin is different: the withdrawal fee is equal to around 00004 BTC when withdrawing Bitcoin (for example). This falls below the average in the industry, too.

Overall, the trading and withdrawal fees give KuCoin exchange another major advantage against most of its competitors.

    KuCoin’s Deposit Options

For a brief period, KuCoin accepted deposits in cryptocurrencies only — no fiat funds were permitted. As a result, inexperienced cryptocurrency investors were prevented from trading at KuCoin, though this all changed in summer 2019.

KuCoin’s switch to embracing fiat currency deposits was achieved thanks to Simplex’s cooperation. Its users can now buy Ethereum, LiteCoin, Bitcoin, and Ripple through Visa or MasterCard.

However, users in certain countries on Sanction lists cannot use these deposit methods. These banned nations include North Korea, Syria, Iraq, Libya, and Afghanistan.

Furthermore, residents of Washington, New Mexico, Connecticut, New York, Hawaii, and Georgio are prohibited from utilizing this deposit method too. Finally, KuCoin also does not accept payments via wire transfer.

    Security at KuCoin

Security is a key concern when considering any cryptocurrency exchange, and KuCoin is no different.

KuCoin exchange stores a huge amount of sensitive data pertaining to its users, such as name, address, taxpayer information, and more. It handles an incredible amount of cryptocurrency and cash deposits.

That means there’s a lot at stake if a cybersecurity attack managed to breach the exchange’s defenses. Fortunately, KuCoin implements the latest security to help safeguard your funds and minimize the risk of data falling into the wrong hands.

That brings our KuCoin review to a close. We hope this helps you understand what to expect if you choose this exchange.

BitMEX, a Seychelles-based crypto exchange, has become one of the largest derivatives exchanges since it was founded in 2014. As of June 2020, BitMEX’s 24-hour trading volume amounted to a staggering $1.58bn, earning it the number-three spot on a list of derivatives exchanges boasting the top 24-hour trading volumes (on Coinmarketcap). What took the top two spaces on that list? Huobi Global and Binance.

Still, BitMEX has achieved a lot in a fairly short period of time and continues to be regarded as one of the leading crypto exchanges. Our BitMEX review explores everything else you need to know to get started with this platform today.

Are Investors from the United States Welcome at BitMEX?

Sadly, investors based in the United States are unable to trade at the BitMEX exchange. The same applies to investors from Japan.

    Understanding BitMEX Corporate

BitMEX Corporate was announced by email in late June 2020. This was designed for BitMEX’s corporate user base, and offers a number of advantages:

    • BitMEX Corporate provides dedicated managers responsible for client coverage relationships and corporate events
    • Strong security setups, with extra options for allocating access to accounts and control, through authorized signatories and dedicated account managers
    • Enhanced accounting requirements allow for clarification of account ownership and domicile
    • Users can access BitMEX’s Account Audit features and support

    The Trading Platform Database

The BitMEX trading platform was made in the column-based database kdb+. This database type is also used by banks’ trading platforms.

As a result, BitMEX is incredibly fast and dependable, particularly when compared to a lot of its competitors (such as Poloniex). Its trading view is well designed: it’s clear and makes a lot of sense. You can view key diagrams in the centre, while the history is positioned on the right. The current order book appears on the left.

This simple trading view ensures an accessible user experience. Furthermore, BitMEX’s mobile site is outstanding, and you can even turn on the night mode setting whenever you like. This is ideal if you’re prone to checking your trading activities in bed before you sleep, or just want to give your eyes a rest from glaring screens.

    BitMEX’s Leveraged Trading

BitMEX provides the option to try leveraged trading, with a maximum of 100x for spot and futures. This applies to both going short and long.

There’s a potential for large returns and, sadly, large losses. For example, if you added $20,000 to your account and placed $200 on ETH’s value increasing 10 percent at 100x leverage, you would earn $2000. But if you placed $200 on the same outcome without the 100x leverage, you would get just $20.

Still, if ETH were to decrease by 10 percent, you would lose $2000 instead. You can see there are real advantages and disadvantages to consider with BitMEX’s leveraged trading.

    The Fees at BitMEX

Three types of fees apply to BitMEX: trading fees, deposit fees, and withdrawal fees.

The size of your deposit fees will differ depending on the payment method you use to add money to your account. Trading fees, though, are 0.075 percent of the order’s total value for takers. Makers will receive 0.025 percent when they make trades, which means their trading fees are -0.025 percent.

Finally, withdrawal fees align with the network fees: around 0.000154 BTC for withdrawals in Bitcoin.

    Trading Fees at BitMEX

It’s crucial that you check all trading fees at any exchange you choose to use. But before we get to that part of this BitMEX review, we’ll clarify what the terms “taker” and “maker” mean.

All trades are conducted between two separate parties: one is the taker, the other is the maker. The taker’s role is to place an order which matches the maker’s order, while the maker’s orders create a market’s liquidity. Takers remove said liquidity by making sure their order matches the maker’s own.

This model of trading stimulates market liquidity, and provides its makers with a fee discount as a reward. Another benefit is the tighter market spread, thanks to makers’ increased incentive to keep outbidding one another.

The 0.075 percent BitMEX charges takers in trading fees is fairly standard for derivatives exchanges. But it actually pays makers for making orders, as they have a negative fee in place.

For instance, if you place a maker order with a value of $100,000 and a taker picks it up, you’d receive $25 for being responsible for the liquidity. Yes, that might not be a huge amount for an order on such a large scale, but the fact that you will be receiving payment for making orders is incredibly impressive.

However, let’s be clear: BitMEX’s focus is firmly on option trading, unlike many other cryptocurrency exchanges. Fees are split into multiple contract types: traditional futures, perpetual contracts, downside profit contracts, and upside profit contracts.

    Explaining BitMEX’s WIthdrawal Fees

We’ve covered the BitMEX exchange’s fees in depth, but there’s still a little more to consider: withdrawal fees. This can be easy to overlook, but you need to know this before you start using BitMEX.

Let’s consider this example. You trade at a major cryptocurrency exchange with competitive trading fees, meet any personal investment targets, and want to purchase a property with Ethereum. But you have to withdraw the money first, which is where the exchange is designed to make up the money it loses in those competitive trading fees.

Here is where BitMEX differs: it only charges the network fee for users who make withdrawals. This gives it a significant competitive edge and helps it stand out.

    Deposit Options at BitMEX

The only deposit method the BitMEX exchange accepts is cryptocurrencies. This means if you’re new to crypto trading, you would need to purchase cryptocurrency coins from a different exchange before depositing them at BitMEX. You can’t use fiat money.

    Security at BitMEX

Security is crucial at BitMEX, and at any crypto exchange for that matter. It processes countless trades and stores a wealth of sensitive data related to its users.

As a result, the most cutting-edge security measures are required to safeguard users’ information. BitMEX implements the latest technologies and techniques to protect your account round the clock.

We hope this BitMEX review has given you all the information you need to know before you sign up!

Binance is one of the foremost cryptocurrency exchanges. In this comprehensive Binance review, we cover all the key details to help you understand this platform when you try it for the first time.

The Binance exchange team is based in Malta (though it originally operated out of Honk Kong), and the platform has become a market leader in only a short period of time since it launched in summer 2017. Binance’s team is incredibly strong, with its CEO being one of the crypto industry’s biggest figures.

It’s unsurprising that the Binance team chose to switch to Malta instead of Hong Kong: Malta is one of a small number of European countries implementing licensing requirements for crypto exchanges (along with Gibraltar and Estonia).

It’s common for Binance to be ranked as the number-one exchange, or at least within the top three, on the basis of trading volume per day. As a result, Binance is one of the most well-respected, trusted crypto exchanges available.

For example, as the COVID-19 pandemic was bringing chaos to the world in April 2020, Binance actually reported a 24 hour trading volume of $4bn, which was the global highest.

Even more impressive, though, was that Binance’s 30 day trading volume reached almost $140bn. Again, this was the world’s highest — an incredible achievement.

    Binance and Futures Trading

The Binance brand launched its futures trading in an official capacity in September 2019.

As you may know, futures are also referred to as “option contracts”: these are designed to provide option holders with a right to purchase or sell specific assets at specific rates. Remember: this is a choice, not an obligation.

There are two option variations available. American Options offer holders the right to take advantage of this option at any time (provided it’s before the contract expires), while European Options can only be exercised across certain dates.

Binance exchange charges competitive fees for futures trading, usually below the industry’s average. The standard taker fee is 0.075 percent, while the standard maker fee is 0.025 percent.

    Basic and Advanced Trading Alternatives

Anyone who decides to use Binance after reading our Binance review will be able to pick one of two trading alternatives: basic or advanced.

Basic doesn’t cater to those looking for detailed technical analysis as well as the advanced version, though neither can be called “easy to use”. The trading view in the basic version is fairly streamlined and user friendly. A lot of the essential information appears in a single page for your convenience, while prices are displayed on the page’s left.

Graphs appear in the centre, along with sell and buy options, with the history displayed on the right.

How about the advanced version? Well, the charts are bigger and take up extra space. The trade history is still displayed to the right, as with the basic version, but the buy & sell boxes are in the lower-right area.

Still, there’s no right or wrong here: it’s up to you to discover which of the views works for you best.

    Which Cryptocurrencies Does Binance Support?

Hundreds of cryptocurrencies are supported by Binance, and the exchange implements a dedicated quality assurance system. This is designed to make sure that projects can be delisted if they’re discovered to have failed the qualification requirements after being listed.

For example, Binance removed listings for the following cryptocurrencies in February 2019:

    • SALT
    • CloakCoin
    • Substratum
    • Wings
    • Modum

What is the Binance OTC Trading Portal?

Binance confirmed its OTC (Over The Counter) desk in April 2020, via an email distributed to its users.

This enables users to execute trades on a larger scale without danger of “slippage”, the term applied to price fluctuations caused by such sizable transactions.

The OTC Trading portal incurs no fees for trading and fast settlement. The minimum trade size is equivalent to USDT 10,000, while 25 different tokens and coins will be available to be traded initially. Users will be required to hold a Binance.com account com which has been KYC verified at level two.

For Investors Based in the United States

For a long while, the Binance exchange has accepted investors from the US looking to trade at its exchange. But in June 2019, the brand revealed that it was launching an American version of the platform, which will be a fiat-to-crypto centralized exchange.

This was followed a few months later by the revelation that investors based in the US were unable to use the main version of Binance. The announcement said users who were considered to not be in accordance with the brand’s Terms of Use will be able to access their funds and wallets, yet unable to execute trades or make deposits.

According to the company’s CEO, such short-term frustrations would prove worth the trouble in the long run.

What is the Binance Lending Product?

Binance Lending Products can be used to lock specific assets in for a particular time frame, which will generate interest.

Binance released 14-day fixed term lending products in September 2019, which can bring in interest when users lock the assets in for two weeks only.

    What are Binance’s Fees?

When you decide to start using any crypto exchange, it’s vital that you pay attention to the fees. Every trade is conducted between two entities: the maker and the taker.

The maker’s order appears on the order book ahead of the trade, while the taker places an order that aligns with the maker’s order. They’re referred to as “makers” as their orders “make” the market’s liquidity, and the others are known as “takers” because they take the liquidity by matching the makers’ orders to their own.

This model cultivates liquidity in the market, as the makers providing the liquidity tend to get a discount on fees, compared to takers. Numerous leading crypto exchanges, though, don’t impose a fee between makers and takers. These fees are considered “flat”.

    Exploring Binance Trading Fees

Binance provides a flat 0.10 percent trading fee, and doesn’t seem to care if you’re a maker or a taker. Investors that like to pick up orders out of the order book may find this fee model appealing. This exchange’s trading fees are well below the industry’s average, which is typically approximately 0.25 percent.

Binance’s trading fees tend to be reduced based on the native token’s (BNB) trading volume and holdings.

    The Withdrawal Fees of Binance

Typically, withdrawal fees vary from one crypto exchange to another and are fixed. If you choose to withdraw Bitcoin, for example, you pay a modest BTC fee to process this withdrawal. Research shows the Bitcoin withdrawal fees are approximately 0.006 BTC per withdrawal on average.

However, Binance only charges 0.0004 BTC, which means their fees are highly competitive.

What Deposit Methods are Available on Binance?

Binance previously accepted deposits in cryptocurrencies and not in fiat currencies, which meant investors new to the crypto scene were unable to conduct trades at Binance. This changed in January 2019, when the exchange started accepting deposits via credit card in specific situations.

The Binance exchange started working with Simplex, a payment service brand based in Israel. This is why users could buy Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ripple, and Ethereum with MasterCard or Visa. This isn’t possible in countries on Sanctions lists, e.g. North Korea, Afghanistan, Libya, and Syria.

Also, users based in particular areas of the United States are unable to take advantage of this: Georgia, Hawaii, Washington, Connecticut, New Mexico, and New York.

Simplex imposes a 3.5 percent charge on each trade, and if you want to purchase BTC for $10,000, Simplex would charge $350 along with a minimum fee of $10 for facilitating the purchase. On top of this, in December 2019, Binance revealed they would enable users to connect Visa cards to their accounts and buy coins this way.

As a result, users would presumably be able to avoid Simplex and its fees. At the time of writing, though, this applies to Visa cards issued across the EEA only, as well as for those in following nations:

    • Germany
    • France
    • UK
    • Netherlands
    • Sweden
    • Poland
    • Belgium
    • Austra
    • Croatia
    • Bulgaria
    • Czech Republic
    • Republic of Cyprus
    • Estonia
    • Denmark
    • Greece
    • Finland
    • Ireland
    • Italy
    • Hungary
    • Latvia
    • Lithuania
    • Malta
    • Portugal
    • Luxembourg
    • Slovakia
    • Romania
    • Spain
    • Iceland
    • Slovenia
    • Norway
    • Liechtenstein

However, in July 2020, Binance revealed that it was also permitting wire transfers, thanks to their partnership with Clear Junction. This means the Binance exchange can now accept bank transfers in EUR through SEPA, and transfers in GBP through Faster Payments.

What Security is Available at Binance?

Security is critical at all cryptocurrency exchanges, and that’s why we’re discussing it in our review. There are two primary reasons why security is so important.

First and foremost, exchanges store a huge amount of sensitive data pertaining to users. This includes names, addresses, taxpayer identification number, government identification details, and more. This information must be protected, and the best exchanges implement cutting-edge security technologies to maximize data defence.

Secondly, a lot of deposits and withdrawals in cash or coins pass through exchanges. There’s a lot at stake, and these funds must be safeguarded.

Various hacks launched at crypto exchanges have taken place. Perhaps the most well known is the Mt. Gox hack, which caused thousands of its users to lose a lot of money. However, a lot of other exchanges have experienced problems.

Binance, though, is known to implement high-quality security to protect its users details and money. You can enjoy good peace of mind that your funds are in good hands when you choose to use Binance.

Beginners may find money management one of the more difficult aspects of crypto trading. Once profits start rolling in, novices may give in to the temptation to spend their earnings and neglect to save much (or any) for the future.

Various tools for managing fiat money have been available for a long time, but cryptocurrency traders may have found themselves without a quality service for being responsible with their digital funds. Yes, there are crypto bots, exchanges, and wallets — but these function independently.

Wealth Square is a trading platform, wallet, and exchange in a centralized product. This robo-advisor is designed to help crypto traders manage their money, their portfolio, withdrawals, and more.

In this review, we’ll explore how Wealth Square works, how much it costs, and other key factors.

    Features

Traders using Wealth Square may feel unsure about creating their own custom portfolio when they first register. If so, they can use a portfolio created by a trading expert instead.

They will be able to check the risks involved, the coins available, planned yearly profit, and backtest it to understand how profitable it has been in the past.

Another feature of Wealth Square is the Goals section. Users may choose from a number of objectives they wish to achieve over time, such as vacation, wedding, vehicle, cash, house, education, and more.

Goals can be made tangible by adding an image, deposit amounts, target amount, and a time period.

Traders can also add investments from cryptocurrency exchanges to track their financial obligations in one platform.

    How Does it Work?

Users will be prompted to set up their portfolio once they have created an account. The registration process requires personal details and a standard email confirmation.

The portfolio configuration consists of multiple steps. Traders will be required to name it, choose the amount they want to spend, select the cryptos they plan to invest in, and view the coin’s prior performance to ensure they want to continue with their selection.

Users can also define their investment percentage for all the coins they invest in, set rebalancing (period or threshold), and backtest the portfolio to assess their earning potential.

When adding investments from crypto exchanges, users will need to enter their API key and Secret Key.

    Security

Wealth Square utilizes multiple security layers in all system components. Its encryption has an A+ rating from Qualys SSL Labs.

    How Much Does it Cost?

At the time of writing, Wealth Square offers a free plan with Wealth Square Plus labeled as “coming soon”.

Wealth Square Basic allows traders to create their own portfolio, use expert portfolios, access a dedicated crypto advisor, utilize a savings planner, view their total net worth, add fiat or crypto investments, and get up to 3% interest on savings.

The Wealth Square Plus plan is projected to offer lending, borrowing, buy/sell signals, and up to 5% interest on savings.

Cornix is a Telegram crypto trading bot bringing users cryptocurrency signals. But how does it work? We have the answers you need in this in-depth review.

Cornix is an automated Telegram trading bot for cryptocurrency signals. Crypto trading signals essentially inform traders how and where to purchase or sell crypto coins, and provide them with entry prices.

Cornix has been designed to reduce the amount of time required to keep up to date with the latest, often frequent, market changes. Cornix aims to help reduce this effort by offering users two main configuration options: an automated one-click/follow signal or a manual/follow signal.

In this review, we’ll cover Cornix’s main features and functions in more depth.

    Features

Cornix features an extensive selection of signal groups, including Fat Pig Signals and Verified Crypto Traders.

Traders can utilize Cornix’s automated follow signals to create trades based on certain signals received, with one-click activation. Trailing features provide users with access to specific functions, such as buy, sell, and stop. They can also optimize gains by tracking signal development and mitigate potential losses across highly volatile periods.

Import signals are involved in sending other signals, from a number of groups, to the Telegram trading bot. The aim is to achieve easy trade generation.

Users may also receive live updates on all actions the bot performs. They can connect to the exchange of their choice (Binance, etc.) with an API. After setting this up, a trader can configure how they want their trades to be conducted, and manage their entries and exits. Various strategies are available, such as increase exponential strategy.

    How Does it Work?

Newcomers to Cornix need to complete multiple steps when creating an account. First, they’ll need to download the Telegram app then click the magnifying glass icon in the top-right corner of the screen. They’ll then need to search for the Cornix Trading Bot.

When the pop-up presents bot options, the user should click the Telegram ID: @cornix_trading_bot. Next, they will hit the start button to interact with the BitMEX signal bot and begin the follow-up stage.

After connecting to the exchange, the trader can view their present holdings in any exchange they use. They can connect to exchanges by navigating to the drop-down menu and selecting General Configuration. When the Client Management option appears, choose this, then Add.

The user will be able to register with an exchange of their choice or connect an account they have already created.

    Security

Cornix claims that its security architecture was vetted by reputable experts. Users’ coins are not stored at Cornix: they remain in exchanges while the Cornix bot performs trades.

Traders are required to disable their withdrawal permissions on API keys for extra security.

    How Much Does it Cost?

Cornix users can choose from the Basic, Intermediate, or Pro plan.

Basic is $24.90 per month. It offers manual trading, Telegram bot integration, trailing functionality, and simultaneous stop/take profit functionality.

The Intermediate plan is $32.90 per month. This adds fully automated trading to the Basic package’s features.

The Pro plan costs $59.90 per month. It includes all features from the previous two plans, as well as the Cornix App, Tradingview Pine Scripts integration, Tradingview alerts integration, and optimized channel configuration.

Coinigy is a crypto trading platform designed for beginner traders, but how does it work? Discover all the key details you need to know before you sign up.

Coinigy is designed to provide both experienced and novice traders with a simple platform to streamline their operations. It’s recognized for the variety of charts and analytical data it provides, alongside a number of tools and indicators. Multiple trading accounts may be centralized in one place to make tracking orders simpler.

What else does Coinigy provide? In this review, we’ll explore the platform’s features, as well as its security and subscription plans.

    Features

Traders can utilize Coingigy’s network-based interface for various activities, such as charting, portfolio monitoring, and in-account trading (API integration required). Accounts can also be operated from Android or iOS devices.

Dozens of technical indicators are available, and a real-time API provides updates on cryptocurrency trends and live data feeds. Coinigy enables users to work with high-frequency tools, live exchange rates, and numerous apps (such as ArbMatrix). With ArbMatrix, traders may generate profits from price variations between exchanges.

Coinigy also allows traders to connect to around 40 well-known exchanges and monitor how specific assets perform across various ones. They may also watch more than 4,000 coins and trading pairs, as well as make purchases or sales directly from their accounts.

Coinigy is also one of the crypto trading bots hosted on Google data centers. It utilizes the SocketCluster framework for microservices and apps.

    How Does it Work?

Coinigy is intended to accommodate beginners, which is why it includes an extensive Support section. Resources focus on working with charts and understanding the platform’s layout. A YouTube channel features detailed tutorial videos too.

Users may compare prices at a variety of exchanges and trade with more than 70 technical indicators. Some users have drawn attention to what may be a steep learning curve for inexperienced traders.

Coinigy users may set up price and trade alerts via email and SMS. No additional exchange fees are charged.

    Security

Coinigy utilizes enterprise-grade security protocols. It filters requests through a verified (ORG) SSL, and protects user data with AES 256-bit encryption.

The platform supports passwords comprising as many as 40 characters, and Two-Factor Authentication is available via Time-based One Time Password Authentication. Failed attempts to log into accounts will lead to a lockout and IP ban for a set period. API keys are not stored or displayed without encryption.

    How Much Does it Cost?

Newcomers can use the free Starter Account and a 30-day full-featured trial. The Starter plan allows users to connect exchange accounts for unlimited trading, 24/7 automatic portfolio monitoring, and more.

The Pro Trader plan is $18.66 per month (when bought annually). This provides unlimited API accounts, unlimited chart layouts, advanced order types, and more.

The API Developer Pro costs $99.99 per month. It provides priority support on top of everything included in the other two plans.

Trality is a platform enabling crypto traders to develop their own bots, using a variety of features. Find out everything you need to know in this review.

Trality is a cryptocurrency trading bot platform. This provides users with a variety of tools for developing their own unique trading bots, as opposed to relying on premade bots that are readily available elsewhere.

Users can perform backtesting and live-trading with their custom strategies, whether they’re total beginners or more experienced crypto traders.

In this Trality review, we’ll explore its range of features, its security, and more.

    Features

One of Traility’s most well-known features is the Code Editor. This is purported to be the first browser-based Python Bot Code Editor.

Users with experience of Python may utilize their coding capabilities and create complex strategies in a somewhat minimal tool. The Code Editor also has a debugger, with a number of popular libraries (such as Tulip, NumPy, Pandas, and more). Bot templates may be used as a basis for users’ future trading bots too.

The Rule Builder is another of Trality’s core features. This utilizes a drag-and-drop interface for users who may lack coding skills, and facilitates the development of bots using boolean logic. Trading logics are made by positioning indicators and strategies in their proper order. Predefined strategies are included, for customization in the future.

A trader looking to create their own crypto bots can leverage Trality’s backtesting, with historical data available. Users may choose from multiple scenarios and custom timeframes for testing algorithms.

As the backtest history is recorded, users may change back to the settings that generate most profit as required. Algorithms may be used in paper trading for forward testing before they’re put into action in live-trades.

After a bot has been made and tested, it can be deployed for live-trading on a range of cryptocurrency exchanges, including Binance, Coinbase Pro, Kraken, and Bitpanda.

Trality allows bots to be built, backtested, and deployed via a single interface. It’s based completely in the cloud, so users don’t need to download extra instalments or manage a server themselves. Live-trading may be conducted on a 24/7 basis.

    How Does it Work?

Traders can register with Trality by signing up on the site and verifying their identity through a standard confirmation email. Trality introduces newcomers to the process of creating custom bots with several tutorials, with resources on the Code Editor and Rule Builder.

A user can connect exchange accounts in the settings menu, and the relevant API keys will be necessary for live-trading. A bot’s performance is based on numerous factors, such as trading amounts and market conditions. The configuration, though, is crucial. That means strategies must be created with care and informed by research.

The platform is designed to accommodate a diverse user base, from those with hands-on experience of Python to traders who may have no idea how bots work. Help pages and documentation are available for guidance through the early stages.

    Security

Trality has no direct access to user funds: bots send trading signals to those exchanges they’re allowed to. API keys connections will intentionally fail if withdrawal rights become enabled. User algorithms and strategies are encrypted end-to-end to prevent unauthorized access.

    How Much Does it Cost?

Trality provides users with multiple plans.

The Pawn option is free. This offers a trading volume of €5,000, a 60m smallest tick interval, one live bot, and one virtual bot. Log retention is one week and backtests are unlimited.

The Knight plan is €9.99. This includes €25,000 trading volume, 60m smallest tick interval, two live bots, two virtual bots, and one-month log retention. Backtests are unlimited.

The Rook plan costs €39.99 and offers a €250,000 trading volume. The smallest tick interval is 5m, five live bots and five virtual bots are available, and the log retention is six months. Backtests are unlimited.

Finally, the Queen plan costs €59.99 and offers an unlimited trading volume. The smallest tick interval is 1m. 10 live bots and 10 virtual bots are available. Log retention and backtests are unlimited.

Our Superalgos review explores the essential details you need to know. Discover what features are available, what security measures are implemented, and more.

Superalgos is an automation platform built for conducting trades and performing market research. The aim behind its creation was to integrate all those essential elements needed for reliable trading intelligence into a single platform. This can be downloaded and run locally.

Users can build cryptocurrency trading bots with Superalgos. However, the system’s sheer size means it may take some time to master, for newcomers and more experienced traders.

But what can traders expect if they decide to use Superalgos?

    Features

Superalgos provides users with a highly visual interface, designed to help traders make sense of the relationships between the various concepts at play in cryptocurrency trading.

Average workflows will involve downloading data from multiple cryptocurrency exchanges and processing it to gather information. Traders may utilize these details for building and deploying automated bots.

OHLCV (Open, High, Low, Close, Volume) data may be downloaded from different exchanges and markets at the same time. Superalgos implements the CCXT library, supporting more than 120 exchanges (not all are available at the time of writing).

Users can define date ranges and additional parameters. They may also convert OHLCV data into candles for any time frame supported, and transform raw market data into standard indicators.

The visual scripting solution facilitates the creation of custom indicators, with little coding knowledge required. Plotters can also be constructed without coding, and make graphics for custom data sets (including custom indicators). These can then be plotted over the charts.

In Superalgos Beta 9, traders will have access to capabilities for training TensorFlow algorithms. Training data sets may be created with in-built capabilities for processing data, and resulting models could be utilized in trading strategies.

Users can build trading systems according to a professional framework and organize strategies in stages. The framework is based on rules, which may be written to trigger strategies, adopt and manage positions, and ultimately close them.

Traders may also utilize market and limit orders for configuring execution algorithms. Profit and stop-loss targets can be handled in phases, with rules to control how switching between formulas that describe targets occurs. Analysis can also be combined on various indicators and time frames.

Trading Farms are also implemented into Superalgos, and coordinated tasks can be deployed across numerous machines (virtual and physical). Traders can use different deployments as per their needs.

    How Does it Work?

To install Superalgos, Node.js needs to be installed first (as the Superalgos Client is a Node.js application). The installation process is fairly simple. Users should fork/clone the Superalgos repository, and they will then be able to utilize it.

Once the app has been launched, an introductory tutorial will guide you through the system to learn how it functions. This includes downloading Binance data, processing it into indicators, backtesting, and running a live trading session if required. Other tutorials are available too.

As mentioned above, traders considering trying Superalgos will be required to invest time into it at the beginning. Particularly as it places no constraints on what a user may or may not do with it. The range of tutorials is designed to ease newcomers into the platform.

No restrictions are imposed on what you choose to do or not to do with Superalgos. Any limits come into effect as a result of the user’s hardware, based on what it’s technically capable of.

For instance, traders can load an endless amount of candles and visualize an unlimited number of indicators simultaneously. But their system will dictate the amount of information that can be presented and the frame rate at which the screen will be refreshed. Infinite data and trading tasks can be deployed too.

    Security

No specific security measures are implemented in Superalgos as it runs on the user’s premises only, and remains under their control.

No registration or login is required to start the download and installation process. This means that the platform is, essentially, as secure as the user’s machine is (or isn’t).

As Superalgos is open-source, developers work on the code base frequently. This is maintained in a public Github repository, and any changes to the code will stay auditable for the foreseeable future.

Zero third parties are required for Superalgos’ network communications: a user’s bots deal with an exchange’s API directly, while traders conduct trades from inside their account on the relevant exchange.

    How Much Does it Cost?

Traders can install and utilize Superalgos for free. They can also modify it and distribute it without charge. There is no restriction on accessing features.
